Full Journal pdf2000-03-17 Senate Journal Page 2638 SB 176 Message dated March 16 was read, stating the House passed CS FOR SENATE BILL NO. 176(RLS) with the following amendment: Page 1, line 7, following users. insert: Public accommodation may be limited under this subsection only to those rooms in the facility that are primarily used for weight loss, aerobic, and other exercises, or for resistance weight training. Public accommodation may not be limited under this subsection to rooms in the facility primarily used for other purposes, including conference rooms, dining rooms, and premises licensed under AS 04.11. This subsection does not apply to swimming pools or golf courses. and so, CS FOR SENATE BILL NO. 176(RLS) am H An Act permitting a physical fitness facility to limit public accommodation to only males or only females is returned for consideration. Senator Leman, Acting Majority Leader, moved that the Senate concur in the House amendment. The question being: Shall the Senate concur in the House amendment? The Secretary was requested to notify the House. The bill was referred to the Secretary for enrollment.
